How ‘street’ has influenced my travel photography
In March 2025, I gave a presentation on Zoom to members of the Royal Photographic Society London Region. It seemed to go well so I’ve decided to make a Gallery of the images used to illustrate the talk.
I explained how I had always taken photos of people but it was only in the last 2 or 3 years that I became aware of ‘Street Photography’ as a distinct genre of image making.
Throughout the talk I showed examples of different styles of ‘street’ and how they have led me to expand the range of photographs that I look for on my travels.
